Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Mizoram. The Civil Engineering Department stands as a beacon of learning, providing a comprehensive four-year program that paves the way towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Additionally, we extend an invitation to aspiring scholars for our immersive full-time Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.

Our department also offers Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, where passionate individuals can delve deep into their chosen area of study.
Our students are well-versed in the foundational elements of civil engineering while remaining attuned to the rapid evolution of modern technology and practices. The Department of Civil Engineering along with Mechanical Engineering is organising a 5-day Offline Workshop on "Navigating the Terrain: EXPLORING THE Challenges and Fintech Solutions OF Solid Waste Management IN URBAN HILLY AREAS". The workshop is scheduled from 29th July 2024 to 02nd August 2024. This workshop is part of the project titled “Training and Skilling Manpower for Smart Solid Waste Management in Urban Hilly Areas”, which is sponsored by IBITF IIT Bhillai.
