A sound knowledge of physics is extremely important for laying the foundation of a future engineer. Thus, it is very important that physics education should become an integral part of the whole engineering education. The Department of Physics is an important science department dedicated to impart quality Physics education to students. The department has started Ph.D. program in physics in the academic year 2014-15.
